~ but I'm totally proud of this little quilt that I made for the
LQS challenge. We got four fat quarters and I added some other fabrics; I can't for certain remember exactly which were the original four. Mine measured 16" x 21", and appears to be the smallest of the bunch. As I recall, the submissions were supposed to be under 24 inches, and those winners look bigger, but that's OK. The great thing for me was conceiving of a design completely from scratch, sketching it out and then making it happen. I pieced the back a little bit, too, and you can see it on

That one was finished before its October 1 deadline, but I wanted to wait to post it until after the judging. Meanwhile, I made another little quilt with the same fabrics, baed on one of the Doll Quilt Challenge group's monthly assignments. Ironically, it looks a little like the first place winner.
